Sunrise Lake Beach Club, at Lewis Morris County Park offers swimming, boating, fishing, and more. Run, jump, climb, and splash across Wibit, an inflatable obstacle course that offers fun for anyone age 7 and older. Don’t miss an opportunity to slide down the Zoom Floom. Play volleyball on the beach or build castles in the sand, it’s all so convenient in Morris Township. A bath/boathouse provides restrooms, showers, and changing facilities.

Morris County Parks has a variety of beautiful locations for your wedding ceremonies, photos and reception. With both indoor and outdoor options, you’re sure to find the perfect venue for your special day.

White-tailed deer management

The Morris County Park Commission is currently responsible for the stewardship of over 18,000 acres of land. It recognizes that a controlled hunting program is the most efficent and affective way available to minimize the severe threats posed to the biodiversity of native flora and fauna by overabundant ehite-tailed deer populations. The MCPC's controlled hunts are specifically used as a population management tool and do not represent recreational hunting opportunities.

The Tourne County Park will be closed Tuesday, July 26th and Wednesday, July 27th, 2016.  The park is being closed for the safety of the public due to a potential rabid wild animal.
 
 
Hedden Park
The bridge located by the Ford Street entrance nearest the softball field will be closed during reconstruction. This will begin on July 7th and continue for 3 - 4 weeks. We will update the website when the process is completed.
