CHATHAM TWP., NJ - On Saturday, October 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham Township, join in the fun for the annual Trail Tales event to celebrate Halloween in a unique way! Enjoy a memorable night of slightly spooky, silly, and nature themed storytelling designed to engage all ages. Hear everything from Native American legends, to tall tales, all along the dark, wooded trails! You never know who may be lurking around the next bend in the path, waiting to tell their story - maybe a pirate or a giant luna moth!

Small groups leave the Visitors Center every 15 minutes with a guide, listening for the wild nocturnal sounds of nature, and pausing to be entertained by storytellers along the way! Complimentary refreshments finish off this night of fun in the woods! Families, individuals, scout troops, and youth groups must preregister for a reserved time. This program is recommended for ages 4 and up, including fun-loving adults. Participants must preregister for a time slot by calling the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center at 973-635-6629.
