MORRIS TWP., NJ-Come to Historic Speedwell, Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, and Cooper Gristmill on Saturday, October 31 for an Historic Halloween experience. A scary and fun afternoon awaits visitors at Historic Haunting at Historic Speedwell from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Listen to terrifying ghost stories and participate in a variety of Halloween fun and games! Children are encouraged to come in costume and participate in an old-fashioned costume contest. Prizes are awarded to all winners!

Then, head over to Historic Halloween Happenings at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Simple celebrations surrounded Halloween in past years. Join in playing Halloween games, a scavenger hunt, sing special songs, decorate holiday cookies, and find out how costumes were created at home. Some Halloween fun before the holiday at Fosterfields, is Family Activity Center: Pumpkin Decorating on Sunday, October 25 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Select your very own pumpkin to decorate, and then play special games with a Halloween theme.

Also on Saturday, October 31, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., visit Cooper Gristmill for A Miller’s Halloween and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with spooky storytelling. Come in costume if you like, create cornhusk dolls, color pumpkins, and play old time games.
