Head over to the arboretum for this special spring break scavenger hunt designed to ‘Take it Outside.’ Bring your camera or cell phone as well as a good set of observant eyes. Find most of the items on the list and take home a prize for the entire family. There’s a lot going on out in the gardens all year round -- you just have to look for it.

The Morris County Park Commission’s ever-popular summer camps fill-up quickly, so now is the perfect time to register! At camp, kids will have memorable, fun-filled days, at some of Morris County’s most beautiful and unique facilities. Campers can explore new areas of interest and improve existing skills. These camps offer a range of programs for kids with a variety of interests: explore the wilderness of Morris County; travel back in time at historic site; enjoy lake activities including swimming, boating and the Wibit; develop ice hockey and figure skating skills; learn to garden vegetables; and investigate a law enforcement career!

What better place and time to talk “cherries” than early spring at Willowwood Arboretum, whose own Cherry collection is outstanding and in bloom! In this lecture, Tony Aiello, Director of Horticulture and Curator of the Living Collection at the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania will discuss the introduction of flowering cherries into the U.S., and will focus on their history in Philadelphia.
