Home School Hikers:  Amphibians

Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area, 472 Boonton Ave, Boonton, NJ 07005.

Ages 9 & up with an adult.

This program for older homeschoolers features a 2-3 mile hike on the rugged trails of Pyramid Mountain with a nature lesson along the way! In this session, we will learn about the amphibians of the forest: toads, newts, frogs and salamanders. Hikers should bring a snack and water and wear appropriate shoes for hiking. 

Cost: $12 per child.
