Host your next family reunion, company picnic, wedding, or fundraiser at this 69.55-acre facility. A picnic pavilion, athletic fields, and picnic tents make it a great place for a large gathering. The Craigmeur picnic season is May through September and is open to 6 pm. There are three reservable sites to choose to accommodate your guests. Craigmeur Recreation Complex is open to those guests with reservations only.

Customize your event by choosing to use the grills that are at the reservable sites, or hire your own caterer to cook and or serve your guests. If you want to service alcohol, for a minimal fee, a permit can be obtained. All vendors are required to provide insurance certificates to meet requirements.

With the Morris County Park Commission reservation staff, plan your event offering your guests personalized activities that include softball fields, volleyball, bocce ball, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, ping pong tables, play area, basketball courts, bank shot basketball, Frisbee golf, and hiking and nature trails in a beautiful natural setting. Organize games and activities in one of the recreation areas. We provide the facility, and you provide the equipment. You can hire your own DJ, bounce house, inflatables, face painters, and other vendors to enhance your event.

No Smoking Policy

The Morris County Park Commission has recently announced a No Smoking Policy banning all smoking including burning of, inhaling from, exhaling the smoke from or the possession of a lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe or any other matter of substance which contains tobacco or any other matter that can be smoked, or the inhaling or exhaling of smoke or vapor from an electronic smoking device.
