Woodsy Walkers
Introduce your kids to the nature camp experience. Little campers, accompanied by an adult, explore the trails and explore a variety of natural history topics with stories, games, walks and activities.

Wild Things: Predators & Prey
It is pretty wild out there in the woods! Everyone is trying to find something to eat while not getting eaten! Discover how animals and plants compete for food and survival in nature. Meet LIVE animals, have adventures on the trails, play games, make crafts, and so much more!

Survivor: Wilderness
Could you survive in the wilds of New Jersey? Kids will learn all the foundations of survival skills: fires, route finding, building debris shelters, tracking and so much more! Kid will learn and have fun at the same time with hiking, games and plenty of hands-on activities. Finish the week off with a bus trip to another park for a mini-backpacking experience and river exploration.

Enjoy a week of drawing, journaling, painting, and crafts with the natural world for inspiration. Kids create masterpieces, discover the work of real artists, and learn about wildlife and habitats, all at the same time.

Hone your artistic skills and creativity with this week-long camp where we will create art inspired by the natural world. Discover methods used by famous artists to create masterpieces. Multiple mediums will be explored while encouraging creative expression.

A Tiny World: Bugs, Birds and Butterflies
Explore the wonders of nature in this 3-day mini-camp adventure at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum! Each day includes guided hikes along the Arboretum’s beautiful trails, where young explorers can observe wildlife up close. Campers will also unleash their creativity with nature-inspired crafts, making unique keepsakes from their outdoor adventures.

Recipes for Adventure
Get ready to dine like it’s 1899! For time traveling chefs-in-training, discover the link between the farm, the mill, and the food on our table. Campers will take a culinary journey into the past as we cook dishes over an open-hearth fire, work in the gardens, and prepare the perfect table. At the end of the week, campers will test their skills in a competition!

All About the Farm
Come to Fosterfields and learn how things are done on the farm! Plant and harvest crops, go fishing, make an old-fashioned craft and help the farmers take care of the animals. Campers will have the chance to cuddle goats, brush cows, weigh piglets, and more.

Creative Crafters
Calling all young artists! Come down to the farm and use nature as inspiration for our projects. Learn historical crafts such as spinning wool into yarn, weaving, toymaking, and more. Make art inspired by historical art movements and create en plein air (outside) just like artists did in the past. Get to know each animal, visit historic buildings, and take your creations home!

Apprentice Camp: Juniors
From the smithing forge to fiber arts, Apprentice Camp is a perfect, beginners’ level, introduction to America’s craft and trade traditions. Campers will learn safe tool use and basic techniques with the guidance of a trade specialist, before undertaking a project under their supervision. This camp is perfect for learners who excel in small class sizes and interested in giving fiber arts, smithing, or woodworking a try!

Weird Science
If you don’t have to wear goggles, how fun can an experiment really be! During our week of weird science, campers will conduct experiments that glow, goo, and get messy. Each of our camp days is inspired by the weird science and special effects of beloved TV and film classics, offering campers a new approach to science-based learning, experimentation, and an understanding of cause and effect.

Apprentice Camp: Journeymen
Perfect for young tool users and crafting enthusiasts, the journeyman level apprentice camp encourages campers with some experience to continue building on their trade and craft skills. Campers will learn safe tool use and basic techniques with the guidance of a trade specialist, before undertaking beginner to intermediate level blacksmithing, woodworking, and fiber arts projects. This camp is perfect for learners who excel in small class sizes and have some prior experience crafting, building, and creating.

Camp Sunrise Lake
Experience days filled with new adventures, safe exploration, budding friendships, and memories that last a lifetime. Half of each day is spent at Sunrise Lake Beach Club swimming in the lake, playing on our inflatable obstacle course, the Wibit, taking turns going down the Zoom Floom slides, and building awe-inspiring sand castles. The other portion of each day is filled with age-appropriate sports, games, arts and crafts, and other fun activities.

Central Park Adventurers is the second installment of our mini-camp “Adventurer” program, expanding into Central Park of Morris County. For families seeking a flexible schedule, our Afternoon Adventurers option offers all the excitement of camp in a shorter day. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the best parts of camp with an easier fit for busy summer schedules.

Learn-To-Skate camps are for 5–12-year-olds (no prior skating experience required). Skaters area divided by age and skill level.
